The former president's Family Member Gets Professional Tips from Tiger Woods Prior to LPGA Debut

Emerging athlete getting ready for major tournament

This young athlete boasts impressive social media presence

The young golfer will have multiple prominent cheerleaders when she makes her professional golf debut on Thursday.

The 18-year-old athlete, who happens to be connected to Donald Trump, was granted a special exemption to play at the Annika tournament in Florida.

The former president, someone who loves golf, operates numerous international courses and frequently matches against his granddaughter.

"He's pretty good. I shouldn't elaborate but we play tight competitions," she stated.

Kai explained that Trump, who won't be present, advised her: "Simply avoid anxiety."

"He practically advised me to play and enjoy myself," she continued.

"To me, he's just a regular grandfather. He won't be there for the tournament. He's busy with presidential duties, so he's rather occupied."

Being non-professional, the golfer has participated in a mere three competitions in 2024 and holds position 461 in AJGA standings.

However she can seek guidance from 15-time major champion, in a relationship with her mother.

"He stands as the greatest golfer in the world," the young golfer said.

"And he's an even better human being. He advised me to go out there, enjoy myself, following whatever happens."

She'll challenge some of most prominent players in women's golf at this tournament, including world number two Nelly Korda, British golfer Hull, professional Thompson and last year's winner Lilia Vu.

The LPGA commented that her participation brings the sport to new audiences, especially with the next generation.

The young star boasts millions of followers and has started her own apparel and wellness company.

Her first tee time at 5:30 PM GMT.
