Kansas City Chiefs Confirm Domestic Violence Allegations Connected to Player Rashee Rice

The NFL franchise issued a statement on Wednesday evening confirming they have knowledge of domestic violence allegations circulated in online accounts by a former girlfriend of player Rashee Rice and had been in contact with the NFL.

The organization did not mention Rice specifically in their statement and stated they would have “no further comment at this time”.

The woman, who likewise did not name Rice directly, posted a set of images on Instagram that appeared to show signs of physical abuse. Jones stated the individual in question was the father of her children, and reports indicate she has two children with the football player, whom the team selected in the second round.

Rice's Recent Legal Issues
