David Walliams parted ways with book publisher.
Prolific children's author and comedian David Walliams has been dropped by his UK book publisher, according to an announcement.
An official for the publisher stated: "Following a thorough review, and under the leadership of its fresh leadership, HarperCollins UK has decided not to publish future works by David Walliams."
Reports indicate that the conclusion was taken subsequent to an inquiry regarding claims about questionable actions involving female individuals.
The firm did not confirm the motivations for this action, stating: "We do not comment on internal matters."
